8 NIGHTS AIR SAFARI: CAMEL SAFARI AND WALKING WITH SAMBURU

Departs Daily, Safari is based on minimum 4 persons traveling together.

Day 1
Arrive Nairobi Airport. You are met and transferred to Nairobi by minibus. Overnight at SERENA HOTEL, Bed and Breakfast basis.

Day 2
After breakfast you are transferred to Wilson Airport, check-in and depart on your private Light Aircraft Cessna 206 charter flight to Ngelai airstrip, Kitich Camp. This scenic flight takes you past the peaks of Mount Kenya, and onwards to the semi-arid country of the nomadic Samburu. 
On arrival (after 1 hrs. 15 Mins flight) at Ngelai you are met by Giulio Bertolli, your host, and transferred to the camp.

Day 2, 3, 4
You spend 3 nights at Kitich Camp, located in the remote Matthews Mountain Range, overlooking the Ngeng River, surrounded by lush wooded hills and scraggy peaks. Tents have large comfortable beds with en-suite bathroom and canvas showers. The shingles-dining cottage features a bar, a sitting room and a fireplace, where you are served three course meals in traditional Tuscany cuisine.Activities include; escorted game-walks and animal stalking in the forests, with a stop by a natural swimming pool, and picnic lunches on the hills.

Day 5, 6, 7, 8 Wild Frontiers Camel Safari; 4 nights;
This is a tailor made safari that is personally escorted by the owner, Helen Douglas Dufresne, who has had life long experience of the arid Northern Frontier district. The Camel safari will start from Kitich Camp and finish at Milgis airstrip (or similar).

Day 9 Afternoon, you depart by Private C206 light aircraft charter from Milgis to Nairobi. Arrive at Wilson APT; met and transferred to the International APT for your  night- flight to Europe.

Day 1
Arrive Nairobi Airport. You are met and transferred to Nairobi by minibus. Overnight at SERENA HOTEL, on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2
After breakfast you are transferred to Wilson Airport; check-in and depart on your private Light Aircraft Cessna 206 charter flight to Ngelai airstrip, KITICH CAMP. This scenic flight takes you past the peaks of Mount Kenya, and onwards to the semi-arid country of the nomadic Samburu.  On arrival (after 1 hrs. 15 Mins flight) at Ngelai you are met by Giulio Bertolli, your host, and transferred to KITICH CAMP for overnight.

Day 6
Fly Kitich - Nanyuki airstrip on private C206 charter plane, connecting to Air Kenya scheduled service from Nanyuki to Masai Mara; met and transferred to OLARRO CAMP for overnight.

Day 5, 6, 7
Spend 3 nights at exclusive OLARRO CAMP overlooking the Masai Mara plains, with escorted walks in the Loita Hills; day or night game drives in open 4x4, and a full day tour with picnic lunch in the bush.

Day 8
Fly on scheduled air Kenya service back to Nairobi. Met, and transferred to International Airport for your departure flight.
